SMEX Site Visit Schedule

SMEX Study Teams -

Thank you for your input on adjustments to the SMEX downselect process. The due date for Concept Study Reports remains unchanged: June 18, 2004. I do not yet have the revised cost/schedule guidelines that can be supported by the President's FY05 budget request for the Explorer program. I will provide those as soon as possible.

Based on your preferences, Carlos and I have put together following the site visit schedule. Since these dates were pre-approved, no changes are expected.

• Thursday 9/02 Site visit: NuSTAR @ SpectrumAstro. Gilbert, AZ
• Monday 9/13 Site visit: ANITA @ U. Hawaii, Honolulu, HI
• Thursday 9/16 Site visit: IBEX @ Orbital, Dulles, VA
• Tuesday 9/21 Site visit: DUO @ Ball, Boulder, CO
• Thursday 9/23 Site visit: JMEX @ LASP, Boulder, CO
