SAFETY, RELIABILITY, and QUALITY ASSURANCE
Q: Should the Concept Study Report address the charts presented at the Phase A Kickoff or what was released in the AO?
A: All proposers should address the original AO; the Kickoff presentation contents will be part of a project specific mission assurance requirements document after downselection.
LAUNCH SERVICES
Q: What kind of dollars are shown in the Launch Services Cost tables for the
Nov 2007/2008 launch dates?
A: The Launch Services Cost tables are real year dollars.
EDUCATION AND PUBLIC OUTREACH
Q: Will the E/PO Evaluation Criteria change?
A: The criteria will not be changed for this review. Any changes needed to bring our program into full alignment with the Office of Education will affect only new Announcements of Opportunity. Missions downselected to procede into Phase B may have to make changes to come into compliance with new requirements.
Q: Are there any additional E/PO requirements that we should budget for?
A: All teams need to budget for the E/PO lead to travel to the annual Forum retreats.
INTERNATIONAL PARTICIPATION
Q: How do I find out the status of my international agreements?
A: No international agreements will be executed during Phase A. After downselection, work hard at maintaining good communication with NASA project and program officials, especially the Program Executive at NASA Headquarters, since he/she is the one who can set the priorities for Code I when it comes to implementing agreements.
